Next week we will have a new set of plans for an Arts & Crafts style child’s bed, the bed is designed to work with a twin size mattress and box spring set. Furthermore, the bed has a couple unique design cues that we think will be a joy to build and a pleasure to behold.
The square spindles on the head and foot boards make a strong geometric statement; while a more subtle statement is made by the use of pegs and pass-through tenons.
The bed is our second set of children’s furniture plans, and follows on the heels of our children’s bookcase plans.
We are all about you being able to visualize what you want to build before or during construction so that your project goes together the way it should, and everything you build ends in success. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to see the whole project or just a complicated part or parts in 3D and not be in the position of making a guess at what that hidden line represents, that is no longer a problem with Foremost Design plans. Using our 3D PDF or SketchUp Model you explore your project before you build it, now you can look at whole project, or a part or parts and take the guess work out of your build. You always have options when purchasing our plans, a detailed dimensioned set of shop drawings, a 3D PDF, a SketchUp model, or you can purchase the Ultimate Plan Package which includes all three (3) of the file formats. Most of all, with Foremost Design plans you never have to settle for just one plan format and you don’t have to purchase expensive software to use our plans, in fact you don’t have to purchase any software; that’s because all of our plans can be viewed and used with free software (Adobe Reader and SketchUp Make). Make the smart choice and go with what works best for you.
Remember, great results start with great plans.
